Youth Prevention Education and Outreach

Youth Prevention Education is designed to help students avoid the harmful physical, psychological, and social consequences of substance use by providing teens with information that will keep them safe and healthy. We teach students to recognize daily pressures and give them healthy alternatives to cope with these pressures using evidence-based curriculums, like Project Alert and My Generation RX.

Project ALERT is a curriculum that was developed to teach today’s teens how to say no to drugs and effectively increase their likelihood to remain drug-free.

My Generation Rx is an evidence based curriculum that teaches teens medication safety. This program also teaches teens key skills to turn down invitations to misuse and positive alternatives to misusing medication.
